What We're Wearing: 2024 Kramer GP2 890RR Introduction

Helmet: Arai Corsair-X Nicky Reset

Arai's flagship racing helmet, the Corsair-X is trusted all over the world by riders spanning the motorcycling spectrum; from riders that make a living on two wheels to casual commuters. Suit: Alpinestars GP Tech V4

Alpinestars protects riders like Marc Marquez – and he crashes a lot. So, I feel safe in the Alpinestars GP Tech V4 suit. It's also compatible with either the Tech-Air 5 or Tech-Air 10 airbag system for extra peace of mind.

Airbag: Alpinestars Tech-Air 5

Ever since I got hit by a car while wearing an airbag – and came away with just a little soreness – I don't ride without one, street or track. In this case, I was wearing the Tech-Air 5 from Alpinestars. You can read all about my little incident, and how the Tech-Air 5 performed, here.

Gloves: Alpinestars GP Pro R3

Gloves are a weird thing, and one of the hardest pieces of safety equipment to get right. Everyone's hand shapes are slightly different, so making a glove that fits well is incredibly hard. The Alpinestars GP Pro R3 isn't the flagship glove in the Alpinestars lineup, but it's my favorite track glove. It's a little tight through the wrist opening, but once I'm in the fit is great.

Boots: Alpinestars Supertech R Vented

If I've said it once, then I've said it a million times: the Alpinestars Supertech R boot is my favorite track boot. Period. It's extremely comfortable, offers great range of motion, and does a good job of limiting movement in directions your foot and ankle shouldn't go. I've taken multiple pairs of Supertech boots straight out of the box and jumped right onto the bike, with no break-in required. They're that comfortable.
